Getting organized is very easy!
That red crayon your daughter lost, the elusive TV remote, the car keys you were sure you put in your bag… Where have all the things gone? Well, we don't have all the answers, but we do have some tips on how to keep your chaotic but beautiful life under control.
Keep it simple
We understand. Sometimes even simple things can get complicated. It's been a long day and doing extra things like picking up toys your child left on the living room floor might feel like running a marathon. You think you will do it tomorrow morning. But, the reality is that mornings add up very quickly and so does clutter. A few extra minutes of organizing andcleaning at the end of each day can help keep order. Even if you take the time to clean one thing up before falling into bed at night, going the extra mile will be worth it.
Clear the clutter
How many art projects have you collected in your fridge over the years? And where do they go when there is no room left? If you pile them in the back of your closet or in some other forgotten corner of the house, you are not alone. There are mountains of things like this that take up a lot of space in our homes. Time to sort through all those things that you haven't used in years. Sure, you will keep some of them for sentimental reasons, but the vast majority occupy a place that could beclean and uncluttered ...
And, for those hundreds of art projects that you just can't separate yourself from, we recommend digitizing them (taking a photo of them), so you'll keep them forever without taking up space in your closets.
Try a cube system
There are toys in the living room, socks in the kitchen, and textbooks in the dining room. Sorting who owns what can be the beginning. Try placing cubes in a corner and label them with the names of your children. They (or, more realistically, you) can place the things that they leave lying around throughout the day and at the end of the afternoon take them to their respective rooms. The best way to stay organized is to make sure everything has a place in your home . That could mean a lot of storage containers, key hooks by the front door, or bins in some corner. It is completely up to you. Your organizing habits should match your everyday lifestyle. Make staying organized easy for yourself, you'll be more likely to stick with it.
