Healthy, filling and delicious breakfast to start your day.
Breakfast should provide around 20% of the total energy of the day to face all the activities we do. Try to combine source of calcium ; carbohydrates ( oatmeal , bread ...); proteins (egg, cheese, yogurt ...).
In this article we bring you a delicious recipe so that you are totally satiated in the healthiest way.
- OATMEAL AND DRIED FRUIT PUDDING:
Oatmeal is currently the favorite cereal to add to breakfast. Its properties include its use to control weight and even help you lose weight.
Preparation time: 30 minutes .
Ingredients for 8 people:
- 200g oat flakes
- 4 eggs
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
- 50g of sweetener with Stevia
- 50g of honey
- 2dl of vegetable drink
- 50g of mixed nuts or to taste
- 100g of blueberry jam
- Butter
- 100g blueberries
Preparation: you must put a saucepan on the fire with 1⁄2 L of water, honey , sweetener , vanilla essence and bring it to a boil. Then add the rolled oats and cook for 10 minutes over low heat (stir from time to time). After the 10 minutes, remove it and let it temper.
Add the milk, eggs and most of the peeled and chopped nuts and mix well. Add the preparation in individual molds previously greased with butter. Bake in a preheated 180º oven for 30 minutes. At the end, let it cool.
Now you can unmold and cover the surface with the jam. Decorate it to your liking, with blueberries and the rest of nuts for example.
As a trick: if you want them to be tastier, substitute 20g of Greek yogurt for the milk. You can also roast the nuts .
